  • Emphasis on isolated setting of the road- symbolism.

Fish Tank (2009, Andrea Arnold)



  • Previous credits: Michael Fassbender. Mainly new talent as it's an indie film.
  • Film's star: Katie Jarvis, Michael Fassbender.

  • Jarvis' character in a depalidated looking flat with tattered walls and graffiti. Stereotypical chav- hooped earings, clothes, etc. Looking out of the window- trapped, hence 'fish tank'.
